The five Jersey Shore courses actually worth your Saturday.
A ranking that will make some clubhouse regulars very upset.
You have a Saturday. You have four buddies. You have gas money. Here's how you spend it.
One. Hollywood Golf Club, Deal. If the money is right, you play Hollywood. Wind off the ocean, greens that reward patience, and a clubhouse that still knows what a proper club sandwich looks like.
Two. Trump National, Colts Neck. Say what you want. The course is immaculate. The par 3s are photograph-worthy.
Three. Charleston Springs (South), Millstone. Best muni in the region. Not close.
Four. Metedeconk National, Jackson. Private, but worth calling in every favor you have. The finishing stretch is one of the best in New Jersey.
Five. Twisted Dune, Egg Harbor Township. Yes, we're counting South Jersey. The wind alone earns it a spot.
Skip the ones we didn't mention. You know which ones.
